The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny by Leslie North

Rating:five-stars
The Sheikh’s Pregnant Nanny by Leslie North
Series: Sheikhs of Hamari #3
Genres: Contemporary Romance

To Matek, a fierce and hardened warrior, love is a weakness. Since childhood, he’s been trained to be tough, fearless, and calculating. His life as a security specialist has no room for softness, and his heart certainly has no room for the sexy Nina Frank, his cousin’s nanny. But when she tells him she’s pregnant with his baby, his protective instincts go into overdrive, and his whole being suddenly feels soft and exposed. He doesn’t like all this feeling stuff, but for some reason, his heart won’t listen to reason.

For Nina, finding herself pregnant was shocking enough. But discovering Matek is a prince is even worse. She thought he was just a security specialist and a distant cousin of her employer. Now, however, everyone is welcoming her into the royal family. There’s just one problem—Nina doesn’t want to be part of the royals. To her, their lives are suffocating and Matek’s obsession with security makes her feel like a prisoner. She longs for a normal, happy life with a man who adores her, and will give her the chance to create her own little family. Matek promises to be none of those things. Worse, Nina realizes she loves him. But she can’t help but wonder if he’ll ever allow his heart to see what he’s secretly been longing for all along...

MY REVIEW OCT 2021

Matek is the head of the family security but he is also a sheikh not that Nina knows that. She is currently his cousin’s nanny and the two of them have a secret relationship. She ends up with a double surprise in that she’s pregnant and he’s a prince. One who is taking her home with him.

This is a really easy read like most of Leslie North’s books. I will say that Matek made me want to punch him the face more than a few times. He was so hot and then cold it seemed although a lot of it has to do with his upbringing. Nina was the sweetest character and she tried so hard to fit in. She struggled but she didn’t give up. She found her footing and made a place for herself.

About Leslie North

Leslie North is the pen name for a critically-acclaimed author of women’s contemporary romance and fiction. The anonymity gives her the perfect opportunity to paint with her full artistic palette, especially in the romance and erotic fantasy genres.

The truth of the matter is she loves her fictional persona, Leslie North, more than her normal, day-to-day persona! Her bestselling books focus on strong characters and particularly women who aren’t afraid to challenge an alpha male. Inspired after years of travel, her stories are set all over the world, from the tough streets of Russia to the beautiful beaches of the middle east.

Leslie fell in love with romance when she first picked up a scrappy, dog-eared romance book from her local library. She began writing soon after and the rest, as they say, was history. She now lives in a cozy cottage on the British coast and enjoys taking long walks with her two Dalmatians, George and Fergie.

She LOVES reader feedback, and if you have any comments, don’t hesitate to contact her via e-mail: leslie@leslienorthbooks.com.
