Summer at Blue Sands Cove by CP Ward
Series: Glorious Summer #1
Genres: Contemporary Romance

Tired of the city, Grace Clelland returns to Blue Sands, the quiet Cornish seaside village where she grew up. There she will meet old flames and old friends, rekindle old loves and ignite new ones in a novel that will have you dreaming of the soft crash of the waves on the shore, the feel of sand between your toes, overloaded ice-creams and smoky beach barbeques.

My Review

One of the first things I noticed about CP Ward was how much this book read more like a an afternoon with friends rather than a book. I love that! I love when the writing is so seamless that I forget I am reading a book.

Grace was an easy character to fall in love with. She had that girl next door charm that makes you like her. Although she has hit a rough patch in her life going home to Blue Sands Cove when her friend Joan invites her to help out in her café.

All in all I loved this book! I was glued to it from the first page and read it within a hour or so while I was in the hospital.
