Saint by Chantal Fernando

Rating:

Saint Series: Knights of Fury MC #1
Genres: MC Romance
From the New York Times bestselling author of the Wind Dragons and Cursed Ravens MC series comes sinners, saints and secrets…
Dear Skylar,
Five years. That’s a long time to go without talking to somebody, especially someone who was such a huge part of your life…
A letter from my first kiss and my childhood everything…from prison.
He may be nicknamed Saint, but this sweet, sexy biker most definitely has a wild streak. Hearing from him draws me right back into the Knights of Fury motorcycle club—the people I’ll always think of as family.
He’s still the only man I’ve ever wanted.
Each good, old-fashioned letter from my “prison pen pal” has my heart racing. Which is nothing compared to how I feel when Saint surprises me in person, as a free man.
I was just a kid the last time we saw each other, but the connection between us now is anything but innocent.
He’s the type of man who would do anything to protect his woman. And with my world crashing down around me, that’s exactly what I’m going to need.
This book is approximately 67,000 words
Please note: This book is part of the Knights of Fury MC series but can be read as a stand-alone.

Chantal Fernando is one of my favorite authors and I can tell you that this going to be one of my favorite new series. We first meet Skylar in her last year of high school. Her mother is with the president of the Knights of Fury MC and they have a volatile relationship during the best of times. We also meet Saint at the same time. He is a prospect and older than Skylar. He knows about her crush on him but because of her age and being the “daughter” of the president he doesn’t act on it.
Skylar’s mother is horrible to say the least. She takes Skylar away from everything she knows. Her MC family, Saint, everything without a single reason why. Five years go by and just like the blurb says Skylar receives a letter. A letter that makes her question everything she has thought for the last five years.

There are so many times I cried in this book. The day Skylar returns to the MC is so emotional. I had to put the book down and then pull myself together before I could go on. That particular chapter really got my emotions flowing.

Of course there was plenty of laughter too. That blend of emotions helped balance this book and made me love it all the more. I can’t wait to see what else Chantal Fernando has in store for us.
