MY REVIEW OCT 2021

Callum Colton doesn’t do families or kids. He is a bodyguard and makes a point of never taking assignments that includes them. Yet one day he sees the cutest little girl and her mother. The mother intrigues him and he goes about his business.

Hazel Hart is trying to raise her daughter and start her catering business. She is doing pretty good until the day her daughter Evie witnesses a kidnapping. Then the kidnapper decides Hazel and Evie are liability that needs to be taken out.

First, I love the name Hazel! I just had to get that out there. Callum and Hazel were great together. There of course were some bumpy moments. Evie just stole every scene she was in. She was so cute and just fell in love with Callum right away.

This story line was one of the best so far in this series. Not that the other two were horrible because they weren’t. This one just had so much going on. There of course is the Colton family mystery of who is the real first born child, who shot Payne, and will he wake up.

However, we have another side of all that with the kidnapper and his trying to take out Hazel and Evie. Also is there someone out to get them or is all just one person? I couldn’t put this one down at all. I read it all in one sitting and can’t wait to read the next one.
