The holidays are always special to me for so many reasons. One of the biggest is that I schedule a little extra time off. With the extra time off I am able to get more done and that includes reading. I have a huge list of books on my to be read pile but I wanted to share 3 of them with y’all. On top of that I have am thrilled to be taking part in the Holiday Ho Ho Ho Giveaway Hop brought to you by Review Wire Media and Chatty Patty’s Place.
Reading is such a large part of my life. I always have a large list but there are some books that make it to the top of the list for whatever reason. Most of the time it is because I love the series. Such as the Coyote Ridge series below. The Walkers are amazing and I love revisiting Coyote Ridge. If you haven’t read any of this series then I highly recommend it. Then there is because I love the author which is the case with Freya Barker. I came across her in Kindle Unlimited once and just loved her writing style and stories. Lauren Blakely is another author I like and she is always a good bet.
Come back to Coyote Ridge for Christmas…
When Travis Walker finds himself uninspired about gifts for his family, he realizes what he wants to give them doesn’t come wrapped in a box with a shiny bow on top.
This year, with the help of his brothers, Travis is going to pull off a surprise that’ll lay the groundwork for the Walker Christmas tradition going forward.
Of course, Travis won’t consider it a success unless he moves a few pieces on the proverbial chessboard while he’s at it. As for where those will eventually land … well, that’s anyone’s guess.
As author Tahlula Rae has discovered; success is a double-edged sword. Leading a quiet and anonymous life, she isn’t prepared for the hateful backlash when her latest book hit the lists, propelling her into the limelight. No longer feeling safe in Denver, she takes her laptop and dog, Luke, and moves to the mountains around Durango, where her peaceful solitude is disrupted when a red-bearded man knocks on her door.
While one of the fire department’s finest, Evan Biel, is relatively content with his life, he can’t escape the sense something’s missing. When on fire-safety housecalls, he finds himself staring into a pair of soulful, copper-colored eyes sparking a deep interest. Discovering the exotic-looking woman may be in more trouble than he can handle, he tries—yet fails—to keep his distance.
When Tahlula offers San Antonio firefighters, Moose and Penelope Jacobs, temporary lodging, as they help fight seasonal wildfires, Evan’s relieved she’s no longer alone on the mountain. Yet when her troubles become outright threats on her life, his focus has to be keeping Tahlula safe
All I want for the holidays is the willpower to resist my brother’s sexy, charming, easy-on-the-eyes new business partner.
Instead, I’m stuck planning all the holiday parties with the one guy who makes me want to break my dating diet.
Who thought that was a good idea?
Oh, me. Yep, brilliant, strategic me who raised her hand and said yes I’d love to hang mistletoe with that hot former sports star. (Note to self: Mistletoe leads to toe-curling, knee-weakening kisses.)
And I’d love to get snowed in with the one guy I shouldn’t fall for. (Addendum to the note to self: You know exactly where eight inches of snow leads to. Ahem, eight inches.)
As long as I can make it through the holidays I’ll be on my merry way, fa la la la la. But the holidays have a surprise for me.
